Woman dead as multi-vehicle crash closes Hwy. 11

A view of a multi-car accident on the southbound lanes of Highway 11 from the Oro-Medonte 9th line shows the icy roads were made even more treacherous by wind blown snow squalls.

A fatal 40-vehicle pileup during snow squalls and harsh winds near Orillia left a woman dead on Friday.
