Diversions and delays to look out for this week

Roadworks to look out for in Leicester, from tomorrow, include the following:

Cross Street: Carriageway work. Road closed between Bruin Street and Law Street from Monday. Local diversions in place.

Mere Road: Speed hump repairs. Road closures between St Peter's Road and Earl Howe Street, and between Dronfield Street and Park Vale Road, from Wednesday.

Lexham Street: Carriageway work. Road closed between Newington Street and Melton Road from Thursday.

Humberstone Lane: Carriageway repair work. Road closed between Colby Road and Thurmaston Lane on Sunday only and from Friday.

On-going work includes:

Parker Drive: Emergency carriageway repair work. Road closed between Beaumont Leys Lane and Somerset Avenue.

Abbey Street: Bus shelter works. Lane restrictions in use near to Mansfield Street.

Sanvey Gate: Junction improvement work. Various restrictions, including temporary signals and lane closures, at junction with Highcross Street and Great Central Street. No left turn into Sanvey Gate from Northgate Street.

St George's Way: Highway works. Off-peak lane restrictions in use at junction with Charles Street and London Road.

Worthington Street: Carriageway work. Road closed between Mere Road and Melbourne Road.

Bendbow Rise and Gallards Hill: Bridge works. Roads closed between Morcote Road and Cowdall Road. Diversions in place.

Highcross Street: Junction improvements. Temporary signals at junction with Sanvey Gate, Northgates and Great Central Street.

Burgess Street: Junction work. Temporary signals at Sanvey Gate junction from 6pm to 11.30am.
