Humber Coastguard has warned people to stay clear of the rescue helicopter when it is attempting to land.
The pilot struggled to land the aircraft during a rescue on Saturday as people with children and dogs flocked to get a closer look.
Watch manager Drew Mahood said: "We would ask people that when they see the helicopter landing to keep well clear and look after their children and pets.
"Our pilot had trouble landing on Saturday because there were so many people wanting to see what was happening."
The helicopter had been deployed to rescue family of four after the tide cut them off at Skipsea.
