Boy robbed in street

A boy was pushed off his bike and robbed by a thug.

A youth approached the 16-year-old as he rode his mountain bike in Gracedieu Road, near the junction with Blackbrook Road, Loughborough.

He pushed the teenager off the bike and rode it away.

The attack happened between 4pm and 4.45pm on Friday, May 6.

Police released details yesterday and appealed for witnesses or sightings of the bike – a black and yellow Universal Mantis mountain bike. Its model number is B261FWA.

The attacker is Asian, 16 to 18 years old, 5ft 8in to 5ft 11in tall, with dark hair which was short and shaven.

He was wearing a grey hooded jacket and blue jeans.
