Hyundai Genesis Hurricane SC

With only two weeks away from the SEMA Show Hyundai has already announced a bunch of Veloster models to be displayed in Las Vegas. And today they have announced a new model, but this time a highly customized Genesis Coupe. The new model called Genesis Hurricane SC has been developed in cooperation with Magnuson Products, Rhys Millen Racing, Harman International and Torvec Inc.

Magnuson was responsible for the engine upgrades. They have equipped the 3.8 liter V-6 engine with a liquid to air intercooler for a total output of more than 450 HP. Torvec Inc. has been developing its IsoTorque differential with improved handling and traction capability.

Rhys Millen Racing (RMR) was responsible for the exterior. They added a new front bumper, grille, hood, side skirts, diffuser, and rear deck with spoiler. The car has also received high performance 19-inch wheel and tire assemblies, a RMR free flowing exhaust system, and an air intake.

The interior gets a Harman International high level Lexicon audio system, custom premium leather, and suede seats accented with blue inserts.

Hyundai Genesis Hurricane SC originally appeared on topspeed.com on Friday, 14 October 2011 15:00 EST.
