Djokovic two steps from summit

Novak Djokovic has no intention of stopping. Serbia?s finest tennis player on the men?s tour disposed of Michael Llodra 6-3, 6-3, 6-3 at Wimbledon and earned himself a place in the quarter-finals of the grass-court Grand Slam. This comes as a repeat of Djokovic?s 2009 run in London when he was eventually defeated by Tommy Haas in the quarter-finals. The Serb?s next opposition will be 18-year-old Bernard Tomic of Australia, who beat Belgium?s Xavier Malisse in straight sets. Tomic is an absolute sensation of this year?s Wimbledon, having already beaten the likes of Nikolay Davydenko, Igor Andreev, and, most notably, fifth seed Robin Soderling in the tournament so far.
