WEST HULL: A road accident victim won more than �19,000 in compensation after suffering serious injuries in a car accident.

The 32-year-old woman, of west Hull, was a passenger in a car which crashed on the way to work in Malton, North Yorkshire.

The Latvian factory worker, who wishes to remain anonymous, underwent two operations and a long course of treatment after the crash.

She was offered �3,000 compensation by the driver's insurance company shortly after the accident in November 2009 and persuaded to sign a disclaimer agreeing not to ask for more.

However, she contacted Neil Hudgell Law for help and has now received �19,000.

HULL: Students from the University Of Hull's Department Of Drama And Music will perform classic Shakespeare play A Winter's Tale from Wednesday, March 9, to Saturday, March 12.

The classic tale of jealousy, separation and reconciliation begins at 7.30pm at the Donald Roy Theatre in Cottingham Road.
