Man in court over robbery of woman, 90

​A man is to appear in court charged with the robbery of a 90-year-old woman in Leicester.

The woman was robbed in Aylestone Drive, Leicester, on October 1, last year.

The 20-year-old man was arrested last week in Bedford and was charged with robbery. He is due to stand trial at Leicester Crown Court on May 23.
